Statement of Faith of HCFAM
I believe:
1. In one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth
2. In Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, who suffered, died and who rose again on the third day and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God in glory and He is coming again to judge the world.
3. In the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and indwells in everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ
4. In the Holy Trinity, the Triune God who alone can pardon and forgive sins of mankind and grant salvation to all those who believe in Him.
5. In the divine inspiration and infallibility of the Bible as God’s Word to man, and as supreme authority in the matters of faith and conduct.
6. In the universal sinfulness of man and God’s redemption only through the death of Jesus Christ, His Son.
7. In the resurrection of the dead and the eternity of life.
